Goodbye Goodbuy is a collection and sale of all gently used goods, (furniture, toiletries, electronics etc.) left after students move out. In the first year it generated 21,000$ dollars, profiting 10,000$.
Climate Action League is a student group that works as an intermediary between students and Brown's Facilities Management on projects that both parties are interested in that help Brown to be a more sustainable campus. The group is currently investigating the possibility of solar panel installation both on roofs at Brown and carports.
CER's mission is to educate the Haverford community about global environmental concerns, and to be a positive example for students at Haverford and other colleges to follow. CER works to ensure that environmental concern is an integral part of daily life at Haverford informing our curriculum, administrative decisions, and community practices.
EFs are peer-to-peer sustainability educators who promote sustainable lifestyle habits on campus. EFs take a seminar course and implement behavior change strategies with first-year students .
